Life Meets the Lens has received one year grant from Wipro to function as one of their Sustainability Educators. As a part of this program, we have created a network of schools in Palampur with whom we facilitate sustainability related initiatives, especially the Wipro Earthian Programme.
The objectives of this program are as follows:
a) Facilitating teacher training workshops on key themes of Biodiversity, Water, and Waste at state/district/block levels. These themes are a part of the Wipro Earthian initiative running from June to November.
b) Follow up, handhold, and guide teachers and students through the learning process to develop project submissions on the above themes.
c) Developing and anchoring sustainability teachers’ networks in the region.
d) Curating experiential learning programs around sustainability issues for students and teachers.
