Northern palm squirrel

This beautiful mammal is very common in cities and hardly gets any attention. Surprisingly, for the first time, we heard the alarm calls of squirrels in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. We wish to know the Distribution of this animal throughout Himachal and need your help. Squirrels play an important role in forest ecosystems by dispersing seeds, warning other animals indirectly about the predators.
