Life Meets the Lens gives you an opportunity to share your inquisitiveness with the world and also to win exciting prizes.

Why we are conducting it?
The idea is to build a community of young explorers who want to know more about the natural world. Through this engagement, we wish to inculcate the habit of documentation and awareness of the surroundings.
हम यह क्यों कर रहे हैं?
हम चाहते है के ऐसे बच्चों का एक समूह बने जो कुदरत के बारे में जानने की इच्छा रखते हों और उनके खुद के सवाल हों। साथ ही हम ये भी चाहते है के बच्चों में अपने आस पास की दुनिया में पाए जाने वाल जीवन के प्रति रुझान पैदा हो।
What we will get:
We want to build more educational content related to the natural world for young adolescents. Through this program, we will be able to better understand what the young minds think about the natural world and how it can help us improve our work. We love to receive views, suggestions, and questions from parents/teachers to help us build specific educational content.
इस से हमें क्या मिलेगा?
इस कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से हम 10 से 18 साल के बच्चों की सोच, कुदरत के बारे में क्या है उसको जानने की कोशिश करेंगे और उस के हिसाब से इसी उम्र के बच्चों के लिए कुदरत को और समझने के लिए शैक्षिक सामग्री बनायींजायेगा। हम अभिभावकों और अध्यापको के विचारो को भी जानना चाहेंगे के वो किस तर्हां का काम हम से चाहेंगे।
How to participate:
Step 1: Download the iNaturalist mobile application and make account/ID.

Step 2: Fill this application form before February 25, 2021: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1FOgJ8sQJ99Yr2sYXsx6-BMZgv-2hqsjCSzWi6yNebM8/edit?usp=sharing
Step 3: Start exploring the natural world from March 1st 2021- March 31st, 2021 and upload your observations on iNaturalist
Results: Results will be announced by 15th April 2021.
How we decide the winners:
Top ten* participants with the highest number of observations those are clearly visible, identified up to minimum class level, accurate location and date are considered as winners.
1st prize: A book by Gerald Durrell THE AMATEUR NATURALIST, an ocular lens, a journal, and a collection box
2nd prize: 2nd prize: An ocular lens, a journal, and a collection box
3rd prize: An ocular lens and a collection box
7 runner ups will get a collection box
Observations of cultivated plants/garden flowers/pets will not be considered as a valid entry.
Try to add your personal observation or any question in the “notes” area in the iNaturalist as it will help us to appreciate more about your understanding of the natural world.
*Minimun of 50 valid observation is required to get consider for the prize

परिणाम: हम 15 अप्रैल 2021 तक इसके नतीजे घोषित कर देंगे
हम विजेताओ को कैसे चुनेंगे:
सबसे ज़यादा तस्वीरें iNaturalist पे अपलोड करने वाले दस* बच्चे, जिनकी तस्वीरेँ साफ़ होंगी, कम से कम वर्ग (क्लास) स्तर तक वर्गीकृत की गयी होंगी, सही स्थान और तारीख के साथ, विजेता बनेगें।
पहला पुरस्कार: Gerald Durrell के द्वारा लिखी गयी किताब THE AMATEUR NATURALIST, एक छोटा जेब में आने वाला माइक्रोस्कोप, एक कॉपी, जंगल से मिले सामान को इकठा और एक जगह पे रहने के लिए कलेक्शन बॉक्स (जिसमे छोटी चिमटियां, छोटे डिब्बे, कटर तथा ब्रश होगा)
दूसरा पुरस्कार: एक छोटा जेब में आने वाला माइक्रोस्कोप, एक कॉपी, कलेक्शन बॉक्स
तीसरा पुरस्कार: एक छोटा जेब में आने वाला माइक्रोस्कोप, कलेक्शन बॉक्स
बाकि 7 बच्चों के लिए कलेक्शन बॉक्स
गमलो के फूलों की, घर के बगीचे के पेड़ों की, पालतू जानवरो की तस्वीरें अवैध मानी जाएँगी।
iNaturalist एप में एक स्थान पे आप अपनी तस्वीरों के बारे में और जानकारियां लिख सकते है, जो आप ने तस्वीर लेते समय देखी हों। अगर आप ऐसा कर पाए तो हमारे लिए वो बहुत महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी होगी।
*कम से कम 50 वैध तस्वीरें खेंचने वाला ही इनाम को पा सकेगा
