It won’t be wrong to say that insects dominate this entire planet as 75% of all animal species are insects. Within this, beetles are the most successful group of insects. They come in every shape, size, and color. One of the primary reasons is the presence of hard covering over the wings, which gives them extra protection. Their ability to eat a variety of food is also an addition to this. Also, Beetle larvae and adults can occupy different habitats, which reduces the intraspecies competition for the resources.

Suppose we place one representative of every animal species on this planet in a line. In that case, every 4th one will be a beetle.
